Connection from the course - Copyrights

Lessig on TED Talk explaining law that stiffle creativity

I found this video of Lessig, the author from our readings that talks about creative rights and common. I find that watching the video really help me see his ideas more clearly. Lessig want us to understand that by allow a people to download content, creativity can flourish though there are consequences in doing so without being informed. Creative Commons is a way for artists to find resources that they need which is what we have been discussing in class for the first couple weeks into the semester. A big theme from the video is drawing the balance between piracy and creative uses.

Another video explaining copyrights that simplify the topic in a cute and funny way.
